Emotional Release therapy is a technique used to relax muscles in the body that are tight or blocked not allowing energy to pass through.  Blocked energy is usually caused from built-up emotions in the body.  These blockages prevent nerve impulses to travel to the organs properly, sometimes shutting the organ off, other times not allowing the organ to function properly.  When these systems are out of balance they become exhausted.  Symptoms such as Pain and Disease often develop.  Which means it does not

have anything to do with nutrition.   So you may be doing the correct things nutritionally for your body, but the emotions are stopping the body from functioning well.

The emotions that are usually causing the blockages are ones that have been used many times.  Fear is an emotion that could repeatedly occur for example, if someone was attacked by a dog as a child, then bullied at school as a teen, then robbed later in life, the emotion of fear becomes great.  There are areas in their body that have to deal with this fear.  These areas become blocked and they can no longer deal with fear, causing them to be unable to handle the slightest amount of fear.  Their bodies will become sick because of blocked muscles.  This could cause them to get severe shoulder, arm, and hand pain because the fear they held on their shoulder in the muscle at their neck is blocking the nerve pulse to those areas.  It will be the same all the way down the spine.

Even in a car accident, tightening your grip to try to brace yourself, and the extreme emotions felt in that moment, may have to be cleared before you begin your healing process, even though it might have only been for a split second.
